Have you tried using the CD/DVD as an IDE device vs. a SCSI device?
BTW It's one thing to insert a few lines of a file or output of an error message however under normal circumstances it is considered extremely rude to copy and past hundreds of lines of crap into the body of a post and should instead be place in a separate attached text file, preferably zipped. This makes browsing the thread easier, especially if it grows long with many replies!
