I am attempted to take an image of a Windows 2003 server with VMWare vCenter Converter. When i start the copy, it fails at 1% and gives me the following error message:
FAILED: Unable to create a VSS snapshot of the source volume(s). Error code: 2147754774 (0x80042316).
I've followed the instructions here, but everything seems to be just fine. No errors, and only one provider "Symantec Software VSS Provider."
I have tried this with the VSS service both on and off.
I'm totally stuck, and this is a potentially big thing for me if i can figure out something my boss wasn't able to figure out on his own, so any help would be extremely appreciated!
