Re: demand higher than usage

I can't see the co-stop metric in vCOPS under All Metrics.

I just found an explaination in the help files under "Cluster Virtual Machines CPU contention".
Demand higher than usage means that CPU is contending for resources. All my hosts have a higher demand than usage under Operations > Details > Workload. There is no CPU overcommitting whatsoever. Not overcommiting to memory but running close.
DRS clusters appear to be balanced.
There are some %RDY times but they are actually not as bad as I thought. They are pretty all under %10.
There are hardly no co-stop values. Some of my hosts don't have any but still demand is higher than usage.

There is also the following heatmap "Which VMs currently have the highest cpu demand and contention"

That shows some VM with contention. What is an acceptable value for this metric?

So not sure where/why exactly the environment is CPU contended
